Adjusted bytes = data bytes × (1 + overhead percent ÷ 100)

Required speed = adjusted bytes × 8 ÷ seconds

Transfer time = adjusted bytes × 8 ÷ speed in bits per second

Transferable size = speed in bits per second × seconds ÷ 8 ÷ overhead factor

For concurrent transfers, total speed is divided equally. This gives a practical per transfer estimate.
