Genshin Impact Character Calculator

Compare stats, talents, reactions, weapons, and resources quickly. Estimate damage, crit value, and farming gaps. Build characters with practical numbers before spending resin today.

Calculator Inputs

Use 1 for no reaction, 1.5 for many amplified hits.

Formula Used

Total Attack = (Base Attack + Weapon Attack) × (1 + Attack Bonus ÷ 100) + Flat Attack.

Talent Hit = Total Attack × (Talent Scaling ÷ 100).

Damage Before Defense = Talent Hit × (1 + Damage Bonus ÷ 100) × Reaction Multiplier.

Defense Multiplier = (Character Level + 100) ÷ [(Character Level + 100) + (Enemy Level + 100) × (1 − Defense Reduction)].

Expected Damage = Non Critical Damage × [1 + Critical Rate × Critical Damage].

Crit Value = (Critical Rate × 2) + Critical Damage.

How To Use This Calculator

Enter character attack values, talent scaling, bonus damage, critical stats, reaction multiplier, enemy level, and resistance. Add energy and resource details if you want planning data. Press the calculate button. The result appears below the header and above the form. Download the result as CSV or PDF for records.

Genshin Impact Character Calculator Guide

This calculator helps players compare a character build with clear numbers. It estimates attack, expected damage, reaction damage, critical output, and basic upgrade needs. The page is useful before spending resin, mora, books, and artifact fodder. It does not replace in game testing. It gives a quick planning view.

Why Character Math Matters

A build can look strong on the inventory screen. Still, damage depends on many linked values. Base attack, weapon attack, bonus attack, flat attack, talent scaling, elemental bonuses, critical rate, critical damage, resistance, and enemy level all affect the final hit. Changing one artifact can also change the value of another stat.

Damage Planning

The calculator starts with total attack. It then applies talent scaling, damage bonus, expected critical value, reaction multiplier, resistance, and defense. Expected damage is not the largest possible screenshot. It is the average value over many hits. This makes crit rate and crit damage easier to compare.

Reaction And Bonus Checks

Reaction multipliers help you test vape, melt, or neutral attacks. You can also enter a custom multiplier for buffs, debuffs, or special conditions. Damage bonus covers elemental damage, normal attack damage, burst damage, or skill damage. Use the field that best matches the talent you are testing.

How To Read Results

Start with expected damage. Then review best critical hit and non critical hit. If expected damage rises, the build is usually better for steady combat. If only the best hit rises, the build may depend on lucky critical rolls. Save each test as CSV or PDF for later comparisons. This method makes repeated artifact testing calmer and faster.

Resource Planning

The resource planner estimates needed experience books and mora. It also compares your current stock with the planned requirement. These estimates are simplified. They are best for early planning, not final farming routes. Always confirm exact upgrade costs inside the game before spending rare items.

Better Build Decisions

Use the example table to compare common build choices. A high attack build may lose to a balanced crit build. A strong damage bonus may matter less when the talent scaling is low. The best build usually balances attack, bonus damage, crit value, reaction setup, and enemy conditions.

FAQs

What does this character calculator estimate?

It estimates total attack, talent damage, critical damage, expected damage, energy recharge needs, and basic leveling resources using the numbers you enter.

Can I use it for every character?

Yes. Enter the character stats, talent scaling, bonuses, and reaction multiplier. The calculator is flexible and does not require fixed character presets.

What reaction multiplier should I enter?

Use 1 for no reaction. Use values like 1.5 or 2 for amplified hits. Enter custom values for buffs or special setups.

Why is expected damage lower than critical damage?

Expected damage averages critical and non critical hits. It uses critical rate, so it represents steady performance instead of a perfect hit.

Does this include enemy resistance?

Yes. Enter enemy resistance as a percentage. The calculator applies a resistance multiplier, including negative resistance and high resistance cases.

Are resource estimates exact?

No. The resource planner uses simplified level estimates. Use it for planning, then confirm exact costs inside the game before farming.

What is crit value?

Crit value is a quick artifact and build metric. It equals critical rate doubled, plus critical damage.

Can I save my result?

Yes. After calculation, use the CSV button for spreadsheet records or the PDF button for a printable build summary.
