Formula Used
Available wishes are calculated as:
Saved wishes + floor((primogems + genesis crystals) / 160) + floor(starglitter / 5)
The five star chance uses base rate before soft pity.
After soft pity starts, the rate increases each pull.
At hard pity, the five star rate becomes 100%.
The selected item probability depends on the selected item rate.
If a guarantee is active, the selected chance becomes 100%.
For multiple target copies, the calculator repeats this probability path.
Success chance is the total probability of reaching the selected copy target within your available wishes.
Expected selected copies and expected five star drops are weighted averages from all simulated outcomes.

Genshin Impact Wish Planning Guide
A wish plan helps you spend currency with control. It also shows risk before a banner ends. Many players count saved fates only. That view can miss primogems, starglitter, pity, and guarantee status. This calculator joins those parts in one place.
Why pity matters
Pity is the number of pulls since the last five star. A higher pity count means the next five star is closer. Hard pity is the pull where the five star is forced. Soft pity is the range where odds usually rise faster. Enter your current pity carefully. A wrong pity value can change the final chance a lot.
Understanding guarantee
Guarantee changes the value of each future five star. If your next five star is guaranteed, one copy becomes much easier. If it is not guaranteed, the calculator uses the selected item rate. For many character banners, players use fifty percent. For a selected weapon, users may enter a lower rate. Custom rates let the tool fit different banner assumptions.
Using saved resources
Primogems and crystals convert into wishes at one hundred sixty each. Starglitter can also become extra fates. The calculator adds those possible wishes to your saved wishes. It then estimates your total pull budget. This helps compare current resources with the target goal.
Reading the result
The success chance estimates the probability of getting the target copies. The expected selected copies show an average outcome across many similar plans. The expected five stars show how many five star drops the pull budget may produce. These values are estimates, not promises.
Practical banner advice
Use the tool before spending. Test one copy, two copies, or more. Change pity and guarantee status after every five star. Save the CSV file when planning several banners. Download the PDF when sharing a summary. Always keep enough pulls for your most important target. Luck can be kind, but pity planning keeps decisions clear.
Limitations
Game rules and banner details can vary. Use official in game rates for final decisions. This calculator is a planning aid. It cannot predict the exact next pull. For best accuracy, update inputs after each session. Record your history outside the game before older wish data expires soon.
FAQs
What does this wish calculator estimate?
It estimates available pulls, pity progress, success chance, expected selected copies, and expected five star drops based on your entered resources and banner settings.
Does this calculator guarantee my next pull?
No. It gives probability estimates. Random results can still happen. The tool helps with planning, but it cannot predict the exact next wish.
What is current pity?
Current pity is the number of pulls made since your last five star. Enter this number before calculating, because it strongly affects your result.
What should I enter for character banners?
Use hard pity 90, soft pity 74, base rate 0.6, and selected rate 50 when modeling many common character event assumptions.
What should I enter for weapon banners?
Use hard pity 80, soft pity 64, and a custom selected rate. You can also enter path points when modeling a selected weapon goal.
How are primogems converted?
The calculator divides primogems and genesis crystals by 160. It also converts starglitter by using five starglitter for one wish.
Why is my success chance low?
Your chance may be low because you have few wishes, low pity, no guarantee, or a target that requires several selected copies.
Can I save my result?
Yes. After calculating, use the CSV button for spreadsheet data or the PDF button for a simple report you can keep or share.
