Why Healing Power Matters

Healing Power changes how support builds feel in Guild Wars 2. The value does not create one universal bonus. Each healing source has its own base amount and coefficient. That is why two skills can react very differently to the same stat increase. A pulse skill may look small, but many pulses and many allies can make it strong.

Reading Coefficients Correctly

A coefficient tells you how much one point of Healing Power adds before modifiers. A coefficient of 0.80 means 1,000 Healing Power adds 800 healing to each single application. If the skill hits five allies, the group value becomes much larger. If the skill pulses three times, the total increases again. Modifiers then multiply the result.

Using Modifiers

Outgoing healing bonuses come from traits, runes, relics, sigils, food, and build effects. Incoming healing bonuses can come from the target. Some encounters may reduce healing. Enter those values as percentages. The calculator multiplies positive bonuses together, then applies the reduction. This makes stacking clearer than mental math.
