Seconds per action before boosts.
Use 100 for full expected output.
Use for diamond spreading or similar bonuses.
Use higher values for compacted storage.

Example Data Table

Setup Minions Action Time Fuel Boost Runtime Use Case
Starter clay setup 5 16 sec 25% 24 hours Daily income check
Compact storage setup 15 12 sec 35% 72 hours Offline planning
High speed test 25 8 sec 50% 168 hours Weekly profit estimate

Formula Used

Total speed boost = fuel boost + upgrade boost + beacon boost + crystal boost + pet boost + other boost.

Speed multiplier = 1 + total speed boost / 100.

Effective action time = base action time / speed multiplier.

Actions = runtime seconds / effective action time × offline efficiency.

Main items = actions × items per action × minion count.

Net profit = stored value + hopper value + bonus value - market tax.

Payback hours = upgrade cost / profit per hour.

How To Use This Calculator

Enter the minion name and choose a price source. Add your minion count, base action time, and items per action.

Enter your runtime in hours. Add fuel, upgrade, beacon, crystal, pet, and other speed boosts as percentages.

Add the item price, bonus item rate, tax, hopper rate, storage slots, and stack size. Press calculate.

Review profit per hour, daily profit, weekly profit, storage fill time, and payback time. Download CSV or PDF when needed.

Advanced Minion Planning Guide

Why Minion Planning Matters

Hypixel SkyBlock minions create value while you play, trade, build, or stay offline. A strong setup turns small actions into steady income. Yet every slot, fuel choice, upgrade, and market price changes the final result. This calculator helps you compare those moving parts in one place. It is useful before buying upgrades, adding storage, or changing fuel.

Core Production Factors

The main driver is action time. A lower action time means more actions per hour. Speed boosts reduce the effective action time. Fuels, beacons, crystals, pets, and other upgrades can all improve output. Offline efficiency also matters. Some setups do not perform exactly like a fully active island. So the calculator lets you scale output with an offline percentage.

Profit And Storage Planning

Profit depends on item count and sell price. Bazaar prices can change often. NPC prices are more stable, but may produce lower returns. Market tax also reduces net income. Storage is just as important. If your minion fills early, extra items may be lost or sold through a hopper at a reduced rate. The storage estimate helps reveal when a larger chest, compactor, or collection upgrade makes sense.

Upgrade Decisions

A good upgrade should pay for itself within a reasonable time. The payback estimate divides upgrade cost by profit per hour. This gives a simple hour target. It does not promise exact market returns. Instead, it helps compare choices quickly. If two fuels look similar, the one with faster payback may be easier to justify.

Practical Tips

Use realistic prices. Enter conservative values when markets are unstable. Check your minion tier and action time in game. Include every active speed source. Test one setup, save the result, then compare another setup. The best choice is not always the fastest minion. It is often the setup that balances cost, storage, uptime, and stable sale value.

Reading The Result

After calculation, review hourly profit first. Then check daily and weekly projections. Next, compare time until full storage. A setup with high profit can still fail if storage fills before you return. Use the CSV file for spreadsheets. Use the PDF file for sharing or saving your chosen build for future review.

FAQs

What does action time mean?

Action time is the number of seconds a minion needs to perform one action. Lower action time means faster production and more items during the selected runtime.

Should I use Bazaar or NPC price?

Use Bazaar price when selling to players. Use NPC price when selling directly. Choose the value that matches your planned selling method.

What is offline efficiency?

Offline efficiency lets you reduce expected output when you want a safer estimate. Use 100 for full output, or lower values for conservative planning.

How does storage affect profit?

Storage limits how many items can stay inside minions. Overflow items are counted through the hopper rate, which may reduce total income.

Can this include diamond spreading?

Yes. Enter the expected bonus item rate and bonus item price. The calculator adds that value to the main production estimate.

What is payback time?

Payback time shows how long an upgrade may need to recover its cost. It divides upgrade cost by profit per hour.

Can I compare different fuels?

Yes. Run the calculator once with one fuel boost. Save or download the result, then test another fuel setting.

Are the results exact?

No estimate is perfect. Market prices, island behavior, upgrades, and collection rules can vary. Use results for planning and comparison.
