Fat calories = fat grams × 9.

Macro percentage = macro calories ÷ total macro calories × 100.

Net carbs = total carbohydrates − total fiber.

Limit percentage = total nutrient ÷ entered limit × 100.

Fast Food Nutrition Planning

A menu nutrition calculator helps you see a full meal before you order. It turns several menu choices into one clear report. That matters because a single sandwich rarely tells the whole story. Fries, drinks, sauces, and desserts can change the final numbers quickly.

This page uses editable sample values for popular menu style items. You can update the array inside the file whenever menu data changes. That keeps the tool useful for local stores, seasonal items, and country specific menus. Always compare the values with the restaurant source when exact nutrition is required.

Why Totals Matter

Calories show the energy in the meal. Protein, carbohydrate, and fat show where that energy comes from. Sodium and sugar show limits that many people track. Fiber can help compare meals with similar calories. A lower calorie meal is not always the best meal. A higher protein meal may fit better for some users.

The calculator also shows macro calorie share. This is useful because grams alone can be misleading. Protein and carbohydrate provide four calories per gram. Fat provides nine calories per gram. So a small fat change can move total energy more than expected.

Smart Ways To Use It

Start with the main item. Then add sides and drinks. Add sauces if they are part of the meal. Check the total against your calorie target. Then review sodium and sugar. You can remove one item and calculate again. This makes comparison simple.

Use the tool for planning, not medical advice. Nutrition needs vary by age, activity, goals, and health conditions. For a strict diet, speak with a qualified professional. For everyday planning, this calculator gives a fast overview. It can help you choose portions, compare swaps, and build a meal that fits your day.

Meal Comparison Example

One user may choose a sandwich, medium fries, and a regular drink. Another user may choose the same sandwich with apple slices and water. Both meals may feel similar in size, yet the totals can differ a lot. The calculator makes those differences visible. It also creates a simple record through CSV or PDF export. That record is helpful for tracking, coaching, or meal review later after a busy day.
