Calculator Form

Formula Used

The calculator uses the common combat power structure for level based scaling.

Attack = Base Attack + Attack IV

Defense = Base Defense + Defense IV

Stamina = Base Stamina + Stamina IV

Combat Power = floor(Attack × sqrt(Defense) × sqrt(Stamina) × CPM² ÷ 10)

The minimum displayed combat power is 10. Hit points use floor(Stamina × CPM). Stat product uses adjusted attack, adjusted defense, and hit points.

How To Use This Calculator

  1. Enter the Pokemon name for your report.
  2. Add base attack, base defense, and base stamina.
  3. Enter attack, defense, and stamina IVs from zero to fifteen.
  4. Select the current level and target level.
  5. Leave custom CPM fields empty for normal level lookup.
  6. Enter a league cap when checking battle limits.

Plan Better Pokemon Builds

Combat power is a compact number, yet it hides several moving parts. A strong calculator helps you read those parts before spending candy, dust, or rare upgrades. This tool focuses on base stats, individual values, trainer level, and the selected combat power multiplier. It also compares a current level with a target level, so you can judge whether a power up fits your goal.

Why Combat Power Matters

Combat power is useful because it summarizes attack, defense, stamina, and level scaling into one visible score. Higher combat power often means higher pressure in raids and gyms. It does not always mean better league performance. Some league teams need lower attack and higher bulk, because that spread can stay under a cap while gaining more total stat product. For that reason, this calculator also shows adjusted attack, adjusted defense, hit points, and stat product.

Using Advanced Inputs

Start with the creature name. Then enter the base attack, base defense, and base stamina. Add attack, defense, and stamina IVs from zero to fifteen. Choose the current level and target level. Half levels are supported. Leave the custom multiplier fields empty unless you are testing special data. Pick a league cap if you want to see how much room the build uses.

Reading The Results

The current combat power shows the build you entered. The target combat power shows the projected value after level changes. The difference line shows the gain. Adjusted stats explain why two builds with similar combat power can perform differently. The league percentage helps you see whether the build is close to a chosen cap.

Practical Team Planning

Use this calculator before investing resources. Compare several IV spreads for the same creature. Export results when you want records for later review. Use the example table as a guide for normal entries. Remember that moves, typing, shields, energy, and matchups still matter. Combat power is important, but it is only one part of battle planning. Good choices combine numbers with strategy.

Accuracy Tips

Check every input before exporting. Small IV errors can shift combat power. Custom multipliers should only be used when you trust the source. Keep notes for each build, because future comparisons become easier.

FAQs

What does combat power mean?

Combat power is a single battle strength value. It combines attack, defense, stamina, IVs, and level scaling. It helps compare builds quickly.

Why do IVs change combat power?

IVs add extra points to base attack, defense, and stamina. Higher IVs usually raise combat power, especially when attack IV is high.

What is CPM?

CPM means combat power multiplier. It scales stats by level. This calculator uses a built in level table unless custom values are entered.

Can I use half levels?

Yes. The level menus include half level steps. They help estimate power ups more accurately when comparing current and target builds.

Why can lower attack help league builds?

Lower attack can reduce combat power. That may allow more defense, stamina, and level room under a league cap.

Does this calculator choose best moves?

No. It estimates combat power and related stats. Move damage, energy, typing, shields, and matchups need separate analysis.

What does stat product show?

Stat product multiplies adjusted attack, adjusted defense, and hit points. It is often used to compare bulk and league efficiency.

Can I export my result?

Yes. Use the CSV button for spreadsheet data. Use the PDF button for a simple printable report.
