Formula Used

Raw XP = catch XP + evolution XP + raid XP + friendship XP + research XP + Pokédex XP + streak XP + other XP. Boosted XP = Raw XP × Lucky Egg multiplier. Extra XP = Boosted XP − Raw XP. XP per egg minute = Boosted XP ÷ egg duration. XP per required minute = Boosted XP ÷ estimated action time.

How To Use This Calculator

Enter the number of catches, evolutions, raids, friendship bonuses, research tasks, and other XP sources. Add the XP value for each source. Keep the multiplier at 2 for a normal Lucky Egg. Change timing fields if your play style is faster or slower. Press the calculate button. Review the result above the form. Export the answer as CSV or PDF when needed.

Why Lucky Egg Planning Matters

A Lucky Egg doubles eligible experience for a limited window. Good planning matters because the clock starts immediately. Random play wastes seconds. A prepared session turns stored tasks into fast gains. This calculator helps you combine common sources, such as catches, excellent throws, evolutions, raids, research, friendships, streaks, and Pokédex bonuses.

Plan Before You Activate

Start by listing every action you can complete during the egg. Count ready evolutions, saved friendship milestones, research claims, planned raids, and catch targets. Enter the normal experience for each item. Then choose your egg multiplier. Most players use two, yet the field remains editable for special events or custom planning.

Timing And Efficiency

Experience is only useful if it fits the active window. The calculator estimates total required minutes from your action counts and timing inputs. It then compares that estimate with the egg duration. A session that exceeds the duration needs trimming. Remove slow actions first. Keep bonuses that can be claimed quickly. Friendship rewards and stored research often deliver high value in seconds.

Better Session Strategy

Use the result summary as a checklist. Sort actions by value and speed. Open gifts or trigger friendships when both players are ready. Stack research encounters before the session. Keep enough storage for catches. Prepare evolution candidates before tapping the egg. Join raid lobbies early if raids are part of the plan. Small delays become expensive during a short boosted window.

Understanding The Output

The raw XP total shows what the same plan earns without a Lucky Egg. The boosted total shows the estimated reward after applying the multiplier. Extra XP is the added value created by the egg. XP per egg minute helps compare different plans. XP per required minute shows how productive your actual action time may be.

Practical Notes

Game rewards can change during events. Always enter the current values shown in the app. The calculator does not connect to your account. It is a planning tool. Use it before spending premium items, coordinating friendship levels, or scheduling raid-heavy sessions. A clear plan helps every Lucky Egg feel less rushed. Review the table after each run and save exports for future community days with notes for target pacing.

FAQs

What does a Lucky Egg do?

A Lucky Egg doubles eligible XP for a limited time. Enter the multiplier as 2 for normal use. Change it only when planning around special event rules or custom estimates.

Can this calculator handle friendship XP?

Yes. Add the number of friendship milestones and the XP value for each one. This is useful when stacking Great, Ultra, or Best Friend rewards.

Why is timing included?

Timing shows whether your plan fits inside the egg window. A high XP plan may still fail if it requires more minutes than the egg duration.

Should I include excellent throw bonuses?

Yes, if you expect to make them often. Add the average throw bonus XP per catch. Use a lower value when your throws are mixed.

Can I use this for Community Day?

Yes. Update the XP values to match the active event. Then enter your planned catches, evolutions, research claims, and available egg time.

Why does the calculator show raw XP?

Raw XP helps compare the plan before the multiplier. Boosted XP shows the expected Lucky Egg total. Extra XP shows the egg’s added value.

Does the calculator connect to my game account?

No. It only uses the numbers you enter. It does not read your Pokémon, items, friends, storage, or account progress.

What should I remove if my plan is too long?

Remove slow actions with lower XP first. Keep fast rewards, stored friendship bonuses, research claims, and high-value actions that fit the egg window.
