Smart PvP IV Planning
Pokémon GO battles use CP limits. Great League, Ultra League, and Little Cup reward efficient stat mixes. A low Attack IV can be useful because Attack raises CP faster. That lets a Pokémon reach a higher level while staying under the league cap.
Why Stat Product Matters
This calculator compares Attack, Defense, and Stamina after IVs and level multipliers are applied. It then calculates CP and stat product. Stat product is a simple way to estimate total battle bulk and output. It is not a perfect battle simulator. Moves, typing, shields, energy, and breakpoints still matter.
Advanced Ranking Method
Each IV spread is tested across the selected level range. The tool keeps the strongest legal level for each spread. A spread is legal when its CP is not higher than the chosen cap. The list is sorted by stat product. Higher stat product usually means better overall PvP efficiency. The selected IVs are then compared against the full tested set.
Using Results Wisely
A rank one spread is not always the only good choice. Some Attack weighted builds win charge move priority. Some Defense weighted builds survive key fast moves. Stamina can also change important knockout timing. Use the rank, percentile, stat product, and level together. Then compare your candidate in battle simulations before spending candy.
Practical Example
Azumarill and similar bulky picks often prefer low Attack and high Defense or Stamina. Glassy attackers may need more Attack for specific matchups. Custom base stats let you study any species. Custom CP caps also support limited cups. The graph highlights how top stat products compare across the best spreads.
What To Check Next
After ranking, review the exact CP and final level. A candidate that reaches the cap closely is often efficient, but it can still lose important matchups. Check the result notes for legality and compare the top table. Save the CSV for spreadsheet review. Download the report when sharing options with teammates. Recalculate after changing level caps, best buddy choices, or cup rules. Small IV changes can move ranks quickly, especially near important CP limits. This keeps choices clear and prevents costly upgrade mistakes later.
