About this Pokemon IV tool
This calculator helps trainers estimate hidden individual values from visible battle stats. It follows the modern stat equation used by most main series games. Enter the level, base stat, effort value, nature effect, and observed stat for each field. The tool checks every possible IV from 0 to 31. Then it returns exact matches or a possible range.
Why IV ranges matter
Many Pokemon are not high enough level for one exact answer. Different IVs can create the same displayed stat. This is normal. A level fifty Pokemon usually gives better ranges than a low level Pokemon. Extra levels, rare candies, and clean EV data can narrow the result. Competitive players use these ranges before breeding, training, or trading.
Inputs that improve accuracy
Base stats are species values. They are not the current stats. Effort values come from training and vitamins. If EVs are unknown, enter your best estimate, or use zero for a fresh Pokemon. Nature only changes Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, or Speed. HP is never changed by nature. Select the raised and lowered stat to match the nature. If the nature is neutral, choose none for both selectors.
Reading the result
Each row shows the minimum IV, maximum IV, range size, and matching values. A single value means the stat is exact. A wide range means more data is needed. The total IV section adds the lowest and highest possible values across all six stats. The percentage helps compare candidates quickly. Hidden Power is shown only when all six IVs are exact. That avoids a misleading type prediction.
Practical uses
Use the sample table to test the layout before adding your own data. Export the result as CSV for spreadsheets. Save the PDF for breeding notes or team archives. This page is designed for quick checks, detailed reviews, and mobile use. It keeps the form in one focused column while the calculator grid adapts across devices. Always verify unusual edge cases with in game data, especially special forms, temporary boosts, and incorrect EV records. For best results, record stats before changes. Repeat the check after leveling once. Stable inputs produce stronger IV confidence and cleaner export records for later comparison.
