Formula Used

Total multiplier = type one multiplier × type two multiplier.

Each attacking type is tested against every team member. Dual type Pokémon multiply both defensive values. For example, Fire attacking Grass and Steel gives 2 × 2 = 4x damage.

How to Use This Calculator

Enter up to six Pokémon names. Select the main type and second type for each one. Use “None” for single type Pokémon. Press calculate. The result table appears above the form. Review high-risk attack types first. Export the report as CSV or PDF for team planning.

Why Team Weakness Planning Matters

A strong team is not only built from powerful attacks. It also needs safe defensive structure. Many teams lose because several members share the same weakness. A single Ice, Ground, Fairy, or Fighting move can then pressure the whole party.

Shared Weaknesses

This calculator checks every attacking type against each Pokémon. It counts how many team members are weak, resistant, immune, or neutral. This helps you see problems before battle. If three Pokémon are weak to Ground, you may need a Flying type, Levitate user, or stronger switch option.

Resistance Value

Resistances are important. They give your team safer entries. They also reduce pressure from common attacks. Immunities are even stronger. A Ghost type can block Normal and Fighting moves. A Flying type can avoid Ground moves.

Average Damage Score

The average damage value gives a quick risk score. A higher number means the team takes more damage from that attack type. A lower number means the team handles that type better. This makes comparison simple.

Better Team Building

Use the report when replacing team members. Try to reduce high-risk rows. Do not remove every weakness. That is impossible. Instead, build clear answers. Add resistances. Add immunities. Add Pokémon that can switch safely. A balanced team gives you more choices during battle.

Export and Review

The CSV file is useful for spreadsheets. The PDF file is better for sharing or saving. You can test several team drafts and compare reports. This makes team building faster, cleaner, and more reliable.
