Adjusted volume: base volume × (1 + waste percent / 100).

Why does the calculator round up bags?

Concrete is sold in whole bags. Rounding down can leave a pour short. The tool rounds up so the buying list covers the adjusted volume.

How much waste should I add?

Use five to ten percent for neat forms. Use more for rough holes, uneven excavation, deep posts, or projects where spillage is likely.

Can I use inches for slab depth?

Yes. Choose inches as the dimension unit, then enter all dimensions in inches. Or use feet and convert four inches to 0.333 feet.

Does this replace engineering advice?

No. It estimates material quantity only. Structural slabs, footings, columns, and load bearing work should follow local rules and qualified design guidance.

Why include wet concrete weight?

Wet weight helps you think about placement, form support, and handling. It is an estimate based on the density value you enter.

Can I calculate several post holes together?

What if my bag size is unusual?
