Formula Used

Bench one rep max: average of Epley, Brzycki, and Lombardi formulas.

Epley: 1RM = weight × (1 + reps ÷ 30).

Brzycki: 1RM = weight × 36 ÷ (37 - reps).

Lombardi: 1RM = weight × reps0.10.

Effective push up load: body weight × variation factor + external load.

Strength ratio: bench equivalent 1RM ÷ effective push up load.

Base reps: the calculator reverses common bench rep formulas with the strength ratio.

Final estimate: base reps × range multiplier × tempo multiplier × form multiplier × fatigue multiplier × training multiplier × control multiplier.
