Formula Used

This calculator uses an editable model because campaign and event rules can vary. The default S-rank style starts with this approximation:

Average combo = total combos / turns used

Combo score = combo weight × average combo ^ combo exponent

Turn score = min(1, floors cleared / turns used) × turn weight

Rarity score = max(0, rarity baseline - average rarity) × rarity weight

Time score = max(0, time limit - clear time) × time weight

Final score = max(0, subtotal × board multiplier)

The default combo weight is 19.53125 with exponent 4. It matches a common dungeon score approximation. Ranking style can be changed by using a lower exponent, a higher time weight, and custom bonuses.

How to Use This Calculator

Why Scores Change

Campaign score events reward clean play. They also reward smart team building. A run with many combos can look strong. Yet it may lose value if the team rarity is high. Another run may use fewer combos. It may still score well because the team is lighter.

Combos and Turns

Combos are usually the first number players notice. More combos raise the average combo value. The default model makes that score grow quickly. This reflects classic score dungeons where high average combos matter a lot. Turns also matter. A clear that matches one floor per turn is efficient. Extra turns lower the turn efficiency part.

Rarity Strategy

Average rarity can change the final score in a big way. Many players lower rarity by using fewer subs. This can improve the score estimate. It also increases risk. A thin team has less health, fewer awakenings, and fewer active skills. You should test survival before using a low-rarity plan in a real campaign.

Time and Event Rules

Some campaigns are closer to ranking events. Time can become very important in those formats. Use the time weight field when seconds remaining add points. Use manual penalties when the event reduces scores for a large board, continues, missed requirements, or special restrictions. Keep a note of every rule from the event screen.

Using the Result

The final number is best used for comparison. Try one run with high combos. Try another run with lower rarity. Compare the score parts. Look for the largest weak area. If the gap is small, improve combo count or remove one rarity point. If the gap is large, rebuild the team or change the scoring profile. Export each attempt. Small changes become easier to track over several practice runs.

It applies a multiplier adjustment. Some events reduce scores for larger boards, so this option helps model that kind of rule.

Use time weight when the event gives points for seconds remaining. Set it to zero when time is not part of scoring.

7. Can I change the formula?

8. Why does my in-game result differ?

Campaign rules can vary. Hidden rounding, fixed-team bonuses, board penalties, or event-specific scoring can change the in-game total.
