Formula Used

Display volume: length × width × height ÷ 231 for inches, or ÷ 3785.411784 for centimeters.

Net display volume: gross display volume × (1 - displacement percentage ÷ 100).

Adjusted return flow: rated return flow × (1 - total loss percentage ÷ 100).

Effective wave flow: each wave pump flow × pump count × duty cycle percentage ÷ 100.

Total flow: adjusted return flow + effective wave flow + closed loop flow + filter flow.

Turnover: total flow ÷ net display volume.

Suggested extra flow: target flow shortfall × (1 + safety margin ÷ 100).
