Fusion Planning For Nocturne
SMT Nocturne fusion looks simple at first. Two parent demons enter the Cathedral. A new demon appears as the result. The hidden planning work is harder. Race, base level, moon phase, sacrifice choices, and skills all matter. This calculator gives one planning screen for those choices. It is made for fast route testing before you spend Macca or overwrite a useful demon.
Why Base Level Matters
The calculator uses parent base levels, not trained levels. This mirrors normal fusion planning. It averages both parent levels. Then it adds one planning level. The result race is read from the selected race chart or your manual override. The tool then picks the first listed demon in that result race that meets the needed level. You can edit the custom demon table when your route needs exact compendium data.
Skill And Moon Checks
Skill inheritance can decide if a fusion is worth doing. Enter inherited skills from both parents. Add desired skills in a separate field. The calculator compares both lists. It also estimates a planning chance from slot count, skill pool size, and moon phase. Treat this as a route score, not an official random seed. New moon warns you about weak inheritance planning. Full moon highlights volatile inheritance notes.
Cost And Sacrifice Control
Advanced planning also needs cost control. The form includes a Macca per level value and a compendium discount field. It estimates a recall budget from both parents and the optional sacrifice demon. Sacrifice data also gives an experience planning note. This helps compare a cheap route against a stronger route with better inherited skills.
Best Use Cases
Use this page when building a target party, testing race pairs, or comparing skill routes. Start with the example rows. Then enter your own parent demons. Choose auto race mode for quick checks. Use custom race mode when a special fusion, Fiend route, Element rank change, or Deathstone route changes the result. Export the result as CSV for a spreadsheet. Save PDF notes for later play. Always confirm rare special fusions in game. Keep each saved route named clearly. It makes later comparisons easier when several parents can reach the same race and level window during play.
