Formula Used

The calculator first finds base points from rating r.

p = (((1651.94 - 475) / (1 + 2500000 × 2.71828^(-0.009 × r))) + 475) × 1.5

Then it applies a bracket multiplier. The 2v2 multiplier is 0.76. The 3v3 multiplier is 0.88. The 5v5 multiplier is 1.00.

A bracket must meet the minimum games value. The final weekly reward is the highest eligible bracket result.

TBC Arena Points Planning

TBC arena rewards are easier to plan when every bracket is visible. A player may have three active ratings. Each rating can create a different weekly payout. The best eligible result is the one that matters. This calculator keeps those numbers together. It helps you compare 2v2, 3v3, and 5v5 without switching tools.

Why Weekly Estimates Matter

Arena gear often costs many points. One weak week can delay a weapon or armor piece. A clear estimate shows the likely reward before reset. You can test higher ratings and see how much each push helps. You can also check whether a lower bracket still pays better after its multiplier.

Eligibility And Brackets

The calculator asks for rating and games played. A bracket becomes eligible when it meets the minimum game rule. By default, that value is ten games. You can change it for private rules or future tuning. The form still shows every bracket, even when a bracket is not eligible. That makes missed caps easy to notice.

Advanced Planning Options

Current points, target cost, and remaining weeks add planning depth. The tool estimates the number of weeks needed for a chosen item. It also projects your possible total by season end. This helps you decide whether to chase rating, play another bracket, or save points.

Using The Results

The best bracket line is the most important output. It shows the payout that would be used for the week. Decimal results are also shown for transparency. A rounding selector lets you view nearest, floor, or ceiling behavior. The exports keep a simple record. Use the CSV file for spreadsheets. Use the PDF file for quick sharing or notes.

Practical Notes

Treat every estimate as planning guidance. Live game rules can change during a season. Always compare the result with your in game panel before buying gear. Ratings, games, and eligibility should be entered carefully. Small rating changes can matter most around the middle of the curve. Recalculate after every arena session.

Good Team Habits

Record each reset result. Compare it with your estimate. Over time, patterns become clear. You will learn which bracket deserves practice. Review notes weekly. Plan stronger pushes when targets need extra weekly rewards.

FAQs

What does this calculator estimate?

It estimates weekly TBC arena points from rating, bracket multiplier, games played, and eligibility. It also compares brackets and shows the likely payout.

Which bracket pays points?

The highest eligible bracket pays. The calculator checks 2v2, 3v3, and 5v5, then selects the largest weekly reward.

Why are games played required?

Games played decide eligibility. The default minimum is ten games, but the field is editable for custom planning or private rule sets.

What do multipliers mean?

Multipliers reduce base points by bracket. The calculator uses 0.76 for 2v2, 0.88 for 3v3, and 1.00 for 5v5.

Can I plan a gear purchase?

Yes. Enter your current points and target gear cost. The result shows points still needed and estimated weeks required.

Why include rounding modes?

Rounding modes help compare nearest, lower, and upper estimates. This is useful when you want conservative or optimistic planning numbers.

Does the PDF need a library?

No. This page creates a simple text PDF directly. It is meant for quick records, not complex reports.

Should I trust this over the game?

Use it for planning. Confirm final rewards inside the game after seasonal changes.
