Task Input Expected output
Expression sin(pi/6)+sqrt(25)+ncr(8,3) 61.5
Quadratic a=1, b=-5, c=6 x₁=3, x₂=2
Linear system 2x+y=9 and x-y=3 x=4, y=1
Matrix determinant A = [[1,2],[3,4]] det(A)=-2

Function table y=x^2-3x+2, -3 to 3 Seven points

Formula Used

Expression: standard order of operations is applied with parentheses, powers, multiplication, division, modulo, addition, and subtraction.

Quadratic: x = (-b ± √(b² - 4ac)) / 2a. The discriminant is b² - 4ac.

Linear system: determinant D = a1b2 - a2b1. Then x = (c1b2 - c2b1) / D and y = (a1c2 - a2c1) / D.

Matrix: det(A) = ad - bc. Inverse A⁻¹ = (1 / det(A)) [[d, -b], [-c, a]].

Statistics: mean = Σx / n. Population variance = Σ(x - mean)² / n. Sample variance = Σ(x - mean)² / (n - 1).

Conversion: value is moved into a base unit, then divided by the target unit factor. Temperature uses direct scale formulas.

Function table: y is evaluated from the entered expression for each x value between the selected start and end.

About This Free Online Calculator

This tool is made for students, teachers, engineers, and everyday problem solvers who need a flexible calculator in one clean page. It accepts arithmetic expressions, trigonometric functions, matrices, equations, statistics, conversions, and function tables. The layout keeps every option close, so you can move from simple checks to deeper work without changing tools.

Why It Helps

A handheld style calculator is useful when the task changes quickly. One moment you may need a square root. Next, you may need a quadratic root, a matrix determinant, or a standard deviation. This page brings those choices into a structured form. It also gives export buttons, so answers can be saved for homework notes, class examples, reports, or later review.

Advanced Study Uses

The expression mode supports powers, percentages, constants, and common functions. The equation mode solves quadratic and linear problems. The matrix mode handles two by two operations, including determinant and inverse. The statistics mode turns a list of numbers into count, sum, mean, median, variance, deviation, range, and quartiles. The table mode evaluates a function over a selected x interval.

Clean Workflow

Start by selecting the calculation type. Fill only the fields needed for that task. Press the calculate button. The answer appears above the form, under the header, where it is easy to copy or export. The result block explains key steps and lists intermediate values when they matter. That makes the page more useful than a plain answer box.

Practical Accuracy

This calculator is designed for learning, planning, and quick checking. It rounds displayed values, but keeps internal calculations precise enough for normal classroom and general work. Always confirm high stakes engineering, finance, medical, or legal decisions with approved professional tools. For regular study, practice, and explanation, it provides a fast and organized way to solve many common problems.

Learning Benefits

Good calculator pages do more than return numbers. They help users compare methods, notice mistakes, and understand why inputs matter. By placing formulas, steps, example data, and exports on the same page, this calculator supports independent study. It is also helpful for teachers who want quick classroom demonstrations without extra setup or complex navigation. Small checks can prevent larger errors during busy study.

FAQs

Is this calculator free to use?

Yes. The page runs as a free online calculator. You can calculate, review, and export results without adding paid features or external accounts.

Can it solve algebra expressions?

Yes. Use expression mode for arithmetic, powers, roots, logarithms, trigonometric functions, constants, combinations, permutations, and expressions that include x.

Does it make function tables?

Yes. Select function table mode. Enter an expression using x, then set start, end, and step values. The result table lists x and y pairs.

Can I use degrees for trigonometry?

Yes. Choose degrees in the angle unit field. Choose radians when your expression uses radian measure, such as many advanced math and calculus examples.

Does the matrix tool support inverse calculations?

Yes. The matrix section supports determinant, inverse, addition, subtraction, and multiplication for two by two matrices. The inverse needs a nonzero determinant.

What statistics can it calculate?

It calculates count, sum, mean, median, minimum, maximum, range, population variance, sample variance, deviations, and quartiles from a numeric list.

How do I download my result?

After calculating, use the CSV button for spreadsheet data or the PDF button for a simple report. Both buttons appear in the result box.

Is this a replacement for official exam devices?

No. This page helps with practice and review. Exams may require approved physical devices, locked software, or specific classroom rules.
