Vehicle impact = vehicle miles ÷ MPG × fuel factor.

Flight impact = flight distance × flight factor.

Food impact = meals × meal factor.

Water impact = water used × water factor.

Waste impact = waste weight × waste factor.

Gross impact = sum of all activity impacts.

Offsets = recycling avoided impact + tree sequestration.

Net impact = gross impact − offsets.

Annual estimate = net impact ÷ days × 365.

Per person impact = net impact ÷ people included.
