Formula Used

Driving Hours = Total Distance ÷ Average Speed

Break Hours = Distance ÷ 100 × Break Minutes Per 100 Units ÷ 60

Total Travel Hours = Driving Hours + Break Hours + Delay Hours

Fuel Needed Per Vehicle = Total Distance ÷ Fuel Economy

Total Fuel Cost = Fuel Needed Per Vehicle × Number Of Vehicles × Fuel Price

Lodging Cost = Lodging Nights × Rooms Needed × Room Rate

Food Cost = Travelers × Food Per Traveler Per Day × Trip Days

Grand Total = Subtotal + Contingency Amount

Cost Per Traveler = Grand Total ÷ Number Of Travelers
