Formula Used
The calculator uses the standard level based talent point rule. Talent points equal character level minus nine. The value is limited from zero to fifty one. Bonus planning points are added only when entered.
Available Points = max(0, min(51, Level - 9)) + Bonus Points
Spent Points = Tree One + Tree Two + Tree Three
Leftover Points = Available Points - Spent Points
Required Level = Spent Points + 9
The primary tree is the tree with the highest point total. The hybrid index estimates how much the build spreads away from that tree. Tier access is estimated by dividing primary tree points by five.

Reading the Tree Split

Using Level Limits
Standard rules give one point per level after level nine. A level sixty character can spend fifty one points. Lower levels must stay inside smaller limits. The required level field checks that rule.
