Formula Used

The calculator uses a flexible stamina-to-health model. It lets you adjust stamina, flat bonuses, percentage buffs, class modifiers, encounter scaling, absorb shields, and damage reduction.

Buffed Stamina = (Stamina + Flat Stamina + Food + Flask) × (1 + Stamina Buff ÷ 100)

Health From Stamina = Buffed Stamina × Health Per Stamina

Health Before Multipliers = Base Health + Health From Stamina + Gear Health + Flat Health + Absorb

Total Health = Health Before Multipliers × Health Multiplier

Effective Health = Total Health ÷ (1 − Damage Reduction ÷ 100)

The health multiplier combines health buff, class modifier, and encounter scaling. The stamina needed value checks how much extra raw stamina is required to reach your target health.

Understanding Stamina and Health Planning

Why Stamina Matters

Stamina is a core survival stat. It increases health and helps your character survive larger hits. This calculator gives a clear view of that value. You can test gear, buffs, food, flasks, and shields in one place. This helps you compare builds before changing equipment.

Build Comparison

A small stamina gain can become larger after percentage buffs. That is why the tool separates raw stamina, buffed stamina, and health from stamina. It also shows how much health is gained from buffs. This makes the result easier to review.

Effective Health

Total health is useful, but effective health gives a stronger survival estimate. Damage reduction increases the amount of incoming damage you can survive. For example, a character with thirty percent reduction survives more raw damage than the health bar alone suggests.

Advanced Modifiers

The class modifier field lets you model special bonuses. Encounter scaling lets you test temporary zone or event effects. Absorb shields are included because shields often behave like extra health during a hit window. These fields make the calculator useful for casual and advanced planning.

Target Health Planning

The target health field is useful for raid checks. Enter the health value you want to reach. The calculator estimates the extra stamina needed after buffs and multipliers. This can guide gem, enchant, food, or gear choices.

Exporting Results

The CSV button downloads your current result as a spreadsheet file. The PDF button creates a clean report from the visible calculation. These exports help you store build tests, compare setups, or share notes with a group.

FAQs

1. What does this calculator estimate?

It estimates total health, buffed stamina, health gains, effective health, and extra stamina needed for a target health value.

2. What is health per stamina?

It is the amount of health gained from one stamina point. You can change it to match your game version or custom rule set.

3. Should I enter food and flask bonuses separately?

Yes. Separate fields make it easier to test different buff sources and see how temporary choices affect final health.

4. What does effective health mean?

Effective health estimates how much raw incoming damage you can survive after damage reduction is considered.

5. Why is my buff gain higher than expected?

Percentage stamina buffs and health multipliers can stack together. This can make small stamina changes produce larger final health gains.

6. What is the class modifier field?

It models class, role, talent, or custom modifiers. Use 100 when no special modifier applies to your setup.

7. Can I use this for raid planning?

Yes. Use the target health field to estimate extra stamina needed before an encounter, raid, or dungeon.

8. Can I export the result?

Yes. Use the CSV button for spreadsheet data or the PDF button for a simple printable report.
