Formula Used

The calculator uses level, tree allocation, and health inputs. It first estimates available talent points.

Available Points = Character Level - 9. The value is capped between 1 and 61.

Spent Points = Tree One + Tree Two + Tree Three. Remaining points equal available points minus spent points.

Displayed Health = Base Health + Stamina × 10 × Stamina Multiplier.

Defense Factor = 1 + Armor ÷ 20000 + Resilience ÷ 1000.

Effective Health Index = Displayed Health × Defense Factor × Allocation Modifier. This is a planning index. It is not an exact combat simulator.

Build Efficiency combines primary depth, secondary support, role bonus, priority bonus, overspend penalty, unspent penalty, and spread penalty.

How to Use This Calculator

Enter a clear build name first. Select the class that matches your character. The three talent tree labels will update automatically.

Add your character level. Then enter points for each tree. The calculator checks the available point limit.

Choose the role, play mode, and build priority. These choices affect the planning score.

Enter base health, stamina, armor, resilience, and stamina multiplier. These values create a health-focused durability estimate.

Why Talent Planning Matters

A Burning Crusade talent plan is more than a point split. It shapes your role, your pace, and your safety. A strong build uses points with clear purpose. Deep trees can unlock powerful identity. Secondary trees can add utility. This calculator helps compare those choices quickly.

Health Context Adds Better Insight

Health planning is useful for many characters. Tanks need durability. PvP players need survival windows. Leveling characters need fewer breaks. Healers also benefit from staying alive. This tool connects talent depth with health inputs. It estimates displayed health and a broader health index. The index includes stamina, armor, resilience, and allocation focus.

Point Balance and Build Focus

The main tree usually defines the build. A deep primary tree often gives stronger direction. A secondary tree can support that direction. Too much spread may weaken the plan. Unused points can also reduce value. The efficiency score rewards depth, role fit, and priority fit. It also warns when points exceed the available cap.

Better Decisions Before Respec

Planning before spending points saves time. It also prevents messy builds. You can test a tank setup. You can compare raid support. You can review PvP control. You can adjust stamina and armor values. Each change updates the score after submission. Export options help store the build. This is useful for guides, notes, and comparisons. Treat the output as a planning aid. Final choices should still match your class, gear, group, and play style.

FAQs

1. What does this calculator measure?
