Text paper mass = height × width × sheet count × text paper GSM.

Cover mass = height × open cover spread width × cover GSM.

Open cover spread width = front width + back width + spine + cover flaps.

Total book mass = text mass + cover mass + board mass + binding mass + inserts + allowance.

Packed mass = total book mass + packaging weight.

Weight force = mass in kilograms × gravity.
