Formula Used

  • Single parcel volume = length × width × height.
  • Total volume = single parcel volume × parcel quantity.
  • Actual total mass = mass per parcel × parcel quantity.
  • Dimensional mass = total volume in cm³ ÷ dimensional divisor.
  • Billable mass = greater value of actual mass and dimensional mass.
  • Weight force = actual total mass × local gravity.
  • Gravity factor = local gravity ÷ 9.80665.
  • Weight charge = billable mass × base rate × service multiplier × gravity factor.
  • Distance charge = distance × distance rate × zone multiplier.
  • Core subtotal = weight charge + distance charge + handling and packaging.
  • Grand total = taxable amount + tax.
