Formula Used

The calculator combines seven normalized quality dimensions into one weighted score. Each component converts raw performance into a 0 to 100 score, then multiplies that score by its assigned weight.

Engagement Rate = ((Likes + Comments + Shares + Saves) / Followers) × 100

Reach Rate = (Average Reach / Followers) × 100

Authenticity Rate = (Authentic Followers / Followers) × 100

Interaction Depth = ((Comments × 2) + (Shares × 1.5) + (Saves × 1.2)) / Total Interactions × 100

Weighted Audience Quality Score = Σ(Component Score × Weight Share)

Industry benchmark fields let you compare actual engagement and reach against expected market baselines instead of using isolated raw totals.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What does the audience quality score measure?

It measures how strong an audience looks across authenticity, engagement, reach, relevance, safety, growth, and interaction depth. Higher scores suggest healthier traffic and better campaign fit.

2. Why are custom weights included?

Different campaigns value different factors. Brand awareness may favor reach, while conversion campaigns may emphasize authenticity, relevance, and deeper interactions.

3. How is authenticity estimated?

Authenticity usually comes from audit tools, suspicious account checks, or manual review. Enter your best verified estimate of real followers rather than total visible followers.

4. What counts as a good score?

Scores above 85 are excellent, 70 to 84 are strong, 55 to 69 are moderate, and below 55 indicates weaker audience quality.

5. Why compare against industry benchmarks?

Benchmarks give context. A 3 percent engagement rate may be excellent in one niche but average in another, so benchmarks improve fair evaluation.

6. Can this calculator compare multiple creators?

Yes. Run one profile at a time, export each result, and compare the final scores with component breakdowns to spot stronger partnership options.

7. Does a high follower count guarantee a high score?

No. Large audiences can still score poorly if reach is weak, authenticity is low, engagement is shallow, or target relevance is limited.
