Formula Used

HP Formula

HP = floor(((2 × Base + IV + floor(EV ÷ 4)) × Level) ÷ 100) + Level + 10

Other Stat Formula

Stat = floor((floor(((2 × Base + IV + floor(EV ÷ 4)) × Level) ÷ 100) + 5) × Nature)

Nature is 1.1 for a boosted non-HP stat. It is 0.9 for a reduced non-HP stat. It is 1.0 for neutral stats.

How To Use This Calculator

  1. Enter the Pokémon name for your record.
  2. Add the battle level from 1 to 100.
  3. Enter all six base stats.
  4. Add IV values from 0 to 31.
  5. Add EV values from 0 to 252 per stat.
  6. Select a nature from the list.
  7. Press the calculate button.

Why Base Stats Matter

Base stats describe the natural shape of a Pokémon. They do not show the final battle value alone. Level, IVs, EVs, and nature still change the finished number. This calculator brings those pieces together in one clean view. It helps players compare attackers, walls, sweepers, and balanced builds with less guesswork.

How The Calculator Helps

A high base stat total can look strong. Yet the spread matters more than the sum in many battles. A Pokémon with great Speed may act first. A Pokémon with high Defense may survive key physical hits. Special Attack and Attack also point toward different move plans. By entering every base stat, you can see the total and the final trained stats together.

Using IVs And EVs

Individual values add hidden quality to a stat. Effort values show training investment. The tool uses the common stat formula and applies floor steps where needed. This keeps the result close to normal game calculations. You can test perfect IVs, mixed IVs, or low level cases. You can also compare full EV spreads against partial training plans.

Nature And Role Planning

Nature changes five stats, but it does not change HP. A boosting nature raises one non HP stat by ten percent. A hindering nature lowers another by ten percent. Neutral natures keep all multipliers at one. This makes nature selection important for focused roles. Fast sweepers often boost Speed. Defensive builds often boost Defense or Special Defense.

Reading The Results

The output table lists base values, IVs, EVs, nature multipliers, and calculated stats. The summary also shows base stat total, EV total, and final stat total. CSV export is useful for spreadsheets. PDF export is useful for notes, guides, and team planning records.

Good Input Habits

Keep each EV at 252 or below for standard play. Keep the total EV value at 510 or below. Use level 50 for many competitive formats. Use level 100 for maximum stat previews. Run several versions before choosing a final spread. Small stat changes can decide important matchups.

Advanced Comparison Tips

Try two spreads side by side in exports. Then check which build reaches important Speed tiers, survives expected hits, or saves EVs for another stat slot.

FAQs

What is a base stat?

A base stat is the natural starting value for one Pokémon stat. It helps define whether a Pokémon is fast, bulky, physical, special, or balanced before training values are added.

Does this calculator include IVs?

Yes. The calculator uses IV values from 0 to 31. Higher IVs increase final stats, with 31 being the usual perfect value for most competitive builds.

Does this calculator include EVs?

Yes. You can enter EVs for every stat. The form allows 0 to 252 per stat, while the result warns when the total goes above 510.

Does nature affect HP?

No. Nature does not change HP. It only changes Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, or Speed depending on the selected nature.

What level should I use?

Use level 50 for many competitive formats. Use level 100 when you want maximum stat previews or older style battle planning.

What is base stat total?

Base stat total is the sum of HP, Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed. It gives a quick overview of total natural strength.

Can I download the result?

Yes. After calculation, you can download the result as a CSV file or a PDF file for reports, notes, and team comparisons.

Why is the final stat rounded down?

The calculator uses floor steps because the normal stat formula rounds down during calculation. This keeps results consistent with expected game style values.
