Example Data Table

Unit Type Base HP Base Damage Level Attack Frequency Cost Best Use
General Attacker 12,000 5,200 30 3.40 sec 3,900 Balanced stages
Tank Unit 45,000 1,500 30 2.80 sec 2,400 Frontline holding

Formula Used

Level Multiplier: Uses a staged growth curve. Higher levels add smaller percentage gains after major breakpoints.

Scaled Health: Base Health × Level Multiplier × Total Bonus Multiplier.

Raw Damage: Base Damage × Hits Per Attack × Level Multiplier × Total Bonus Multiplier.

Expected Damage: Raw Damage × Ability Multiplier × Critical Expected Multiplier × Savage Expected Multiplier × Targets Hit.

DPS: Expected Damage ÷ Attack Frequency.

Effective Health: Scaled Health ÷ Received Damage Multiplier ÷ Enemy Damage Factor.

Efficiency Score: Combines DPS per cost, health per cost, and range value.

Battle Cats Stat Planning Guide

Why Stats Matter

Battle Cats stages often look simple at first. The real challenge appears when enemy traits, magnifications, range gaps, and spawn timing combine. A unit may look powerful on paper, yet perform poorly when cooldown or cost is ignored. This calculator helps compare those hidden tradeoffs.

Understanding Damage

Damage alone does not show full power. Attack frequency changes everything. A unit with lower damage can win in DPS when it attacks faster. Multi-hit units also need careful review. Some hits may miss if the enemy moves or gets knocked back before the sequence ends.

Health and Survival

Health is not only a raw number. Resistance abilities can make the same health last much longer. Enemy multiplier also matters. A stage with heavy magnification can erase weak frontliners quickly. Effective health gives a better survival estimate.

Cost Efficiency

Cost is important in long stages. Expensive units can be excellent, but they need strong output. Damage per cost and DPS per cost show whether a unit gives enough value. Health per cost is useful for tanks and stall units.

Ability Matchups

Strong, massive damage, insane damage, resistant, and tough abilities change results sharply. Treasures can improve many trait effects. Choose the correct matchup before comparing units. A general unit may lose to a specialist when trait bonuses apply.

Practical Use

Use the result as a planning guide. Compare two units with the same enemy multiplier. Then check range, cooldown, and role. A high score does not always mean best choice. Stage design still matters. The best lineup usually balances damage, control, survival, and cost.

FAQs

What does this Battle Cats stat calculator measure?

It estimates scaled health, effective health, expected damage, DPS, cycle DPS, cost value, and an overall efficiency score for planning unit choices.

Can I use this for any Battle Cats unit?

Yes. Enter the unit’s base values, level, attack timing, cost, and bonuses. The calculator works best when your source values are accurate.

What is effective health?

Effective health adjusts normal health for resistance effects and enemy damage multiplier. It helps estimate how long a unit may survive under pressure.

Why is DPS different from raw damage?

Raw damage shows one attack cycle. DPS divides expected damage by attack frequency. It shows sustained damage over time.

How are critical hits handled?

Critical chance is converted into an expected multiplier. For example, a 20% critical rate adds average damage value over many attacks.

What does savage blow chance do?

Savage blow chance adds expected bonus damage based on your entered chance and multiplier. It is treated as an average long-run value.

Is the efficiency score official?

No. It is a custom comparison score. It combines damage value, health value, and range to support easier unit planning.

Should I choose only the highest score?

No. Use the score with stage needs. Range, timing, traits, control effects, and spawn pressure can matter more than raw efficiency.
