Formula Used

Level formula: Starting level plus positive stat gains above the chosen class base stats.

Health estimate: Base health plus Vigor gains. Gains slow after common soft cap ranges.

Focus estimate: Base focus plus Attunement gains. Higher Attunement receives smaller extra value.

Stamina estimate: Base stamina plus Endurance gains. Values above 40 are reduced.

Equip load estimate: Base load plus Vitality multiplied by a planning factor.

Attack rating estimate: Weapon base plus stat scaling bonuses. Scaling uses grade coefficients and soft cap factors.

Build score: A weighted planning score from health, focus, stamina, load, defense, and attack rating.

Why Use This Stats Calculator?

Dark Souls 3 builds feel simple at first. They become complex after several level ups. Every point changes more than one result. Vigor improves survival. Attunement raises casting space. Endurance supports actions. Vitality helps equipment. Damage stats affect weapon output through scaling. This calculator brings those parts together. It helps you compare a current build with a target build. It also shows where points may give weaker returns.

Build Planning With Statistics

The page treats every character as a small statistical model. It compares attribute totals, level cost, derived values, and weapon scaling. The result is not only a single number. It is a profile of your planned character. You can test a strength build, dexterity build, hybrid caster, or luck setup. You can then compare the estimated attack rating against health, stamina, and equip load. This makes tradeoffs easier to see before spending souls.

Formula Based Estimates

The calculator uses simplified formulas for planning. It starts from the chosen class base stats. Added levels are the positive difference between current or target stats and those base stats. Health, focus, stamina, load, defense, and attack rating are estimated from each attribute. Soft cap notes warn when returns may slow down. These notes are useful when a target stat looks expensive. They also help you decide whether another attribute deserves the next point.

Using Results In Practice

Start with your real class and current stats. Enter the target values you want to test. Add a weapon base value and scaling grades. Press calculate. Review the level gap, estimated souls, and derived changes. The best next stat is shown from a one point comparison. Use it as guidance, not a rule. Export the CSV for spreadsheets. Use the PDF option for a compact build note. Repeat the process with another setup. A few quick tests can show whether a build is focused, overloaded, or ready for refinement.

Balanced Build Review

Good build planning also protects theme and style. Some builds chase raw damage. Others need survivability or casting comfort. A statistical view reveals hidden imbalance. It can show a target that reaches high attack but lacks stamina. It can also show a tank build with excess load and weak damage.

FAQs

What does this calculator estimate?

It estimates level, derived stats, attack rating, soft cap pressure, soul cost, and build efficiency from selected attributes and weapon scaling.

Are the values exact game values?

No. The formulas are simplified planning estimates. They are useful for comparing builds, but in-game values may vary by gear, upgrades, buffs, and hidden mechanics.

Why choose a starting class?

The class sets base stats and starting level. The calculator uses those values to estimate how many levels your current or target build needs.

What is weapon base value?

It is the base attack value used before scaling bonuses. You can enter any value to compare different weapons or upgrade stages.

How does scaling grade work?

Each grade applies a coefficient to the matching stat. Stronger grades add more estimated attack rating when the related stat is high.

What does efficiency per level mean?

It divides the build score gain by added levels. A higher value suggests the target adds more practical value per level spent.

Why do soft cap notes appear?

Soft cap notes appear when a stat enters a range where extra points may give smaller returns. They help prevent inefficient leveling.

Can I export my result?

Yes. Use the CSV button for spreadsheet records. Use the PDF button to save a compact result summary for later review.
