|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Balanced attacker | 50 | 78 | 84 | 78 | 100 | 15 across main stats | 65535 each |

Formula Used
HP Formula
HP = floor(((((Base + HP DV) × 2) + floor(sqrt(Stat Experience) / 4)) × Level) / 100) + Level + 10
Other Stat Formula
Stat = floor(((((Base + DV) × 2) + floor(sqrt(Stat Experience) / 4)) × Level) / 100) + 5
Derived HP DV Formula
HP DV = 8 × Attack parity + 4 × Defense parity + 2 × Speed parity + Special parity
Battle Stage Formula
For positive stages, modified stat = floor(raw stat × (2 + stage) / 2). For negative stages, modified stat = floor(raw stat × 2 / (2 - stage)).
How to Use This Calculator
Enter the level first. Add the six base stats from the creature or build you want to test. Then add Attack, Defense, Speed, and Special DVs. The calculator derives HP DV automatically. Enter stat experience values from zero to 65535. Use stage fields when you want battle-modified values. Press the calculate button. The result appears above the form. Use CSV or PDF buttons to save the table.
Advanced Gen 2 Stat Planning
Why Gen 2 Stats Need Care
Gen 2 stat planning uses a different structure than later systems. It depends on base stats, level, DVs, and stat experience. Each part changes the final number. Small inputs can matter at level fifty. They matter even more at level one hundred. This calculator brings those details into one clear table.
DVs and Their Effect
DVs range from zero to fifteen. Attack, Defense, Speed, and Special are entered directly. HP is different. Its DV is derived from the odd or even pattern of the other four DVs. That makes HP planning less direct. A perfect HP DV usually needs odd values in all linked DVs.
Stat Experience
Stat experience works like long term training. It ranges from zero to 65535. The calculator converts it with a square root step. This means early gains can be useful. Later gains become smaller. The bonus is then placed inside the main stat formula. This gives a practical view of trained and untrained builds.
Special Stats
Gen 2 has Special Attack and Special Defense as separate base stats. Both still use the same Special DV. They also use the same Special stat experience input here. This matches the older structure and keeps the form simple. It also helps compare mixed attackers, special walls, and balanced builds.
Battle Stages
Raw stats are useful for team planning. Battle stats show temporary boosts and drops. A stage of zero means no change. Positive stages raise the result. Negative stages reduce it. HP does not use stages. Use this feature to test setup moves, stat drops, and speed control. The result table separates raw and battle values for quick review.
FAQs
What does this calculator estimate?
It estimates Gen 2 HP, Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed from base stats, DVs, stat experience, and level.
Why is HP DV not entered directly?
HP DV is derived from Attack, Defense, Speed, and Special DV parity. The calculator handles that step automatically.
What is the highest DV value?
The highest DV value is 15. The lowest is zero. Higher values usually create stronger final stats.
What is stat experience?
Stat experience is a training value. It ranges from zero to 65535 and adds a bonus through a square root formula.
Why do Special Attack and Special Defense share inputs?
Gen 2 separates the base stats, but both use the same Special DV and Special stat experience input in this calculator.
What do battle stages mean?
Battle stages show temporary boosts or drops from minus six to plus six. They affect all listed stats except HP.
Can I export the results?
Yes. After calculation, use the CSV or PDF button above the form to download the full result table.
Can I use this for level fifty checks?
Yes. Enter level 50 and your chosen values. The calculator will show raw stats, battle stats, and max comparisons.
