Example Data Table

Example Base Attack Base Defense Base Stamina IV Spread Level Use Case
Balanced battler 200 170 180 10/14/15 25 Great League check
Raid attacker 260 180 190 15/15/14 40 Damage planning

Budget build 190 160 175 13/12/12 30 Dust decision

Formula Used

CP: floor((Base Attack + Attack IV) × √(Base Defense + Defense IV) × √(Base Stamina + Stamina IV) × CPM² ÷ 10)

HP: floor((Base Stamina + Stamina IV) × CPM), with a minimum value of 10.

Effective Attack: (Base Attack + Attack IV) × CPM.

Effective Defense: (Base Defense + Defense IV) × CPM.

Stat Product: Effective Attack × Effective Defense × HP.

IV Percentage: (Attack IV + Defense IV + Stamina IV) ÷ 45 × 100.

Damage Estimate: floor(0.5 × Move Power × Attack ÷ Opponent Defense × bonus values) + 1.

CP multiplier values are included in the file. Upgrade costs are practical planning estimates for comparison.

Pokemon Go Stats Guide

Why Pokemon Go Stats Matter

Pokemon Go rewards careful choices. A high CP number looks useful, but it does not tell the full story. Attack, defense, stamina, IVs, and level all shape performance. This calculator turns those inputs into clearer statistics. It helps you compare battle strength, league fit, and upgrade value before spending dust or candy.

Core Battle Meaning

Attack increases damage. Defense reduces incoming pressure. Stamina raises hit points. IVs add extra points to each base stat. Level applies a multiplier to all three stats. The final mix decides CP, HP, and stat product. Stat product is especially helpful for leagues. It rewards balanced bulk, not only raw attack.

PvP Planning

Great League and Ultra League have CP caps. A lower attack IV can sometimes allow a higher level under the cap. That can improve defense and stamina. This is why a perfect appraisal is not always best for capped leagues. The rank estimate scans IV spreads and legal levels. It then compares your spread with stronger statistical options.

Raid And Gym Planning

Raids favor damage speed. Higher attack, strong moves, same-type attack bonus, and favorable effectiveness all help. Bulk still matters because fainting wastes time. The damage score in this tool is a planning signal. It is not a full simulator. It gives a quick way to compare builds before powering up.

Upgrade Decisions

Powering up can be costly. Each half level adds CP and battle value. Yet the return can shrink near higher levels. The calculator estimates target CP, gained HP, stat gain, dust needs, candy needs, and XL candy needs. This makes budget planning easier.

Smart Use

Use real base stats when available. Enter the exact IV appraisal. Pick the current level and target level. Select the league cap that matches your goal. Review the output with your team role in mind. A raid attacker, safe switch, closer, and gym defender can need different strengths. Good statistics support better choices. They do not replace practice. Check several scenarios before investing. Save the downloaded report for later comparison. Revisit numbers when moves change, events arrive, or new league formats appear. This keeps planning flexible and practical.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What does this calculator measure?

It estimates CP, HP, IV percentage, stat product, league fit, damage value, and upgrade cost. It helps compare builds before spending resources.

2. Why can low attack IV be useful?

Lower attack can keep CP lower in capped leagues. That may allow more levels, which can improve defense, stamina, and total stat product.

3. Is the league rank exact?

It is an estimate from scanned IV spreads and levels. It uses stat product, not full battle simulations, movesets, shields, or team roles.

4. What is stat product?

Stat product multiplies effective attack, effective defense, and HP. It is a common bulk and efficiency signal for capped league planning.

5. How should I use raid value?

Use it as a quick comparison signal. Higher attack, strong move power, type bonus, and effectiveness raise the value for raid planning.

6. Are upgrade costs final?

They are planning estimates. Events, discounts, special mechanics, and game changes may affect real costs. Always check in-game before spending.

7. Can I compare trades?

Yes. Enter each possible IV spread and compare CP, stat product, rank estimate, and upgrade cost. Keep the downloaded files for records.

8. Does move choice matter?

Yes. Move power, type bonus, and effectiveness change damage output. Full battle results also depend on energy, cooldowns, shields, and timing.
