Compute independent group differences with complete metrics quickly.
The unpaired t-test (also known as the independent samples t-test) is a fundamental statistical hypothesis testing method used to determine whether there is a statistically significant difference between the means of two independent groups. This tool handles data configurations efficiently using robust backend algorithms.
For Welch's t-test (default unequal variances), the test statistic is calculated using the formula:
$$t = \frac{\bar{X}_1 - \bar{X}_2}{\sqrt{\frac{s_1^2}{n_1} + \frac{s_2^2}{n_2}}}$$
Where $\bar{X}_1$ and $\bar{X}_2$ represent sample means, $s_1^2$ and $s_2^2$ are sample variances, and $n_1$ and $n_2$ denote the respective sample sizes for each group.
