5. Readiness Gap = max(Target Score − Current Preparedness, 0) ÷ 100.
6. Confidence Gap = max(100 − Confidence Level, 0) ÷ 100.
7. Adjustment Factor = 1 + (0.6 × Readiness Gap) + (0.4 × Confidence Gap).
8. Adjusted Study Load = Base Study Load × Adjustment Factor.
9. Required Daily Hours = Adjusted Study Load ÷ Effective Study Days.
10. Coverage Rate = Available Study Hours ÷ Adjusted Study Load × 100.
11. Readiness Index = min(100, 0.55 × Coverage Rate + 0.25 × Preparedness + 0.20 × Confidence).

It measures time remaining until your exam and turns that time into a study plan. It also estimates whether your current schedule can realistically cover your remaining workload.
2. Why are buffer days important?
Buffer days protect your plan from delays, fatigue, and unexpected events. They keep your schedule realistic by reserving time that is not counted as active study time.
3. What is the readiness index?
The readiness index blends workload coverage, current preparedness, and confidence. It is not a guaranteed score prediction, but it gives a useful snapshot of how secure your plan looks today.
4. Can I use it for multiple subjects?
Yes. Enter the remaining number of subjects and include chapter totals across all of them. The calculator then spreads that combined workload across your available study days.
5. What if my required daily hours seem too high?
That usually means your remaining workload is too heavy for the time available. Increase daily study hours, lower buffer days, reduce task estimates, or simplify your final revision scope.
6. Does efficiency rate change the result much?
Yes. Efficiency rate reduces practical study capacity to reflect breaks, distractions, and lower-quality sessions. A lower rate makes the plan more conservative and usually more realistic.
7. Should I enter exact study hours per chapter?
Use your best average estimate. The calculator works well with rough but honest inputs. Overly optimistic estimates can make your plan look easier than it really is.
8. Can I export the result for later review?
