Formula used

mass (g) = moles (mol) × molar mass (g/mol)

Molar mass is calculated from the chemical formula by summing each element count times its atomic mass. Parentheses multipliers and hydrate dots are supported, e.g., CuSO4·5H2O.

  • Example: For H2SO4 ⇒ 2×H + 1×S + 4×O.
  • Units: If output unit is kg or mg, the grams are converted accordingly.
  • Rounding: Displayed values round to 4–6 significant places; export preserves full precision where available.
How to use this calculator
  1. Click Add row. Enter a chemical formula and moles.
  2. Press the ↻ button or leave molar mass blank to autocalculate.
  3. Choose an output unit (g, kg, or mg) for convenience.
  4. Repeat for multiple compounds. Click Compute all to update everything.
  5. Optionally paste custom atomic masses to override the defaults.
  6. Use Download CSV or Download PDF to export results.

For education and planning; verify against your quality requirements.
