Formula Used
Let M be the monthly rent and D be the divisor days.
For the actual days method, D equals the number of days in the month.
For the 30-day method, D = 30.
The daily rate is M ÷ D. If C is the count of chargeable days in the partial period,
then Prorated Base = (M ÷ D) × C. Add utilities or fixed extras to get the total.
Chargeable days are inclusive of both start and end dates for fairness and consistency.
