Formula used
1) Base rental cost
Base per unit is calculated using your selected pricing mode. In best-rate mode, the calculator tries combinations of monthly (30 days), weekly (7 days), and daily charges, then chooses the lowest base cost.
Base total = Base per unit × Quantity
2) Pre-surcharge total
Pre-surcharge = Base total + Transport + Other fees + Overtime + Labor
3) Surcharges
Fuel amount = Pre-surcharge × Fuel% / 100
Waiver amount = Pre-surcharge × Waiver% / 100
4) Discounts and tax
Subtotal = Pre-surcharge + Fuel amount + Waiver amount
Discount amount = Subtotal × Discount% / 100
Taxable = Subtotal − Discount amount
Tax amount = Taxable × Tax% / 100
5) Totals
Total due (excl. deposit) = Taxable + Tax amount
Grand payable (incl. deposit) = Total due + Deposit
