Examples assume the carrier reference and spur level share the same reference unit.
Formula Used
Absolute level is found by adding the relative offset to the carrier reference:
Lspur (in same unit) = Lcarrier + (dBc)
For ratio comparisons, dBc can be converted to linear form:
- Power ratio = 10^(dBc / 10)
- Amplitude ratio = 10^(dBc / 20)
