Dimensions are in selected units. Quantity multiplies per-plate weight.

Weight is derived from volume and density. Converting dimensions to centimeters and using density in g/cm³:
Volume (cm³) = thickness(mm) × width(mm) × length(mm) × (0.1 cm/mm)³
Mass (g) = Volume (cm³) × density (g/cm³)
Weight (kg) = Mass (g) ÷ 1000
Combined directly in millimeters:
Weight (kg) = thickness × width × length × density × 1e-6
Density defaults to 7.85 g/cm³ (mild steel). Edit density to match your alloy if needed.
- Select Units (mm or inches). Changing units converts existing inputs.
- Choose a density preset or enter a custom density in g/cm³.
- Use the input grid to add plates: enter thickness, width, length, and quantity.
- Weights compute automatically; totals update live. Adjust Rounding for display precision.
- Use Download CSV or Download PDF to export the results table.
- Review the chart to compare weights per item.
