How it works
  • Ratio: concentrate = V × a/(a+b); diluent = V × b/(a+b).
  • % strength: C₁V₁ = C₂V (assumes v/v on aqueous basis).
  • PPM: 1 ppm ≈ 1 mg/L in water; V₁ = (C₂/C₁) × V.
  • Serial: at each step, stock = Vstep/factor; diluent = remainder.
