Formula Used
Room-nights available = Total Rooms × Period Days
Room-nights sold = (Occupancy% × Room-nights available) or entered directly
Net room revenue = (Room-nights sold × ADR) − Discounts
Distribution cost = Commission% × Net room revenue
Total variable costs = Room-nights sold × (Variable Cost + Housekeeping Cost)
Total revenue = Net room revenue + Other room revenue
Total costs = Fixed costs + Other costs + Distribution cost + Total variable costs
Total profit = Total revenue − Total costs
Average room profit = Total profit ÷ Room-nights sold
