Count movements, time sessions, and see meaningful patterns. Spot progress quickly with clear pace feedback. Stay organized while tracking daily reassurance for growing families.
Use the calculator grid below. Large screens show three columns, medium screens show two, and mobile shows one.
The graph shows cumulative movements across the session. It uses your submitted values when available, otherwise it displays example trend data.
Duration (minutes) = End Time − Start Time
Kicks per Hour = (Kick Count ÷ Duration Minutes) × 60
Minutes per Kick = Duration Minutes ÷ Kick Count
Progress (%) = (Kick Count ÷ Target Kicks) × 100
Remaining Kicks = Target Kicks − Kick Count
Estimated Time to Target = (Target Kicks ÷ Kicks per Hour) × 60
Status Rule compares your count, duration, and threshold window to summarize pace and completion.
This calculator summarizes a counting session. It does not diagnose fetal wellbeing. Persistent reduced movement, pain, bleeding, or maternal concern should be discussed with a qualified clinician immediately.

It summarizes one movement-counting session. It calculates duration, kick pace, progress toward a target, estimated time to reach that target, and whether your session stayed within the observation threshold you selected.
Yes. If you did not record exact start and end times, enter a manual duration in minutes. The calculator will use that value for all pace and progress calculations.
Many people track 10 movements, but your clinician may advise a different plan. This tool lets you customize the target so your session summary matches the routine you were given.
Position does not change the formula. It adds useful session context, because some people notice movements more clearly while resting, especially on the left side.
No. The Plotly chart only visualizes session progress and cumulative movement. It helps you review pace visually, but it is not a diagnostic graph.
Use the calculator to document the session, but do not rely on numbers alone. If reduced movement continues or you are worried, contact your maternity care team promptly.
Yes. After calculating, you can export the visible session summary to CSV or PDF. That makes it easier to keep a record or discuss trends with your clinician.
No. This is an organizational and educational tool. It does not replace professional advice, urgent assessment, or individualized instructions from your maternity care provider.
