FAQs
1) What does this tracker calculate?
It calculates total movements, session pace, average minutes per movement, target completion, and an estimated time needed to reach your selected movement goal.
2) Why are movements split into strong, rolls, and flutters?
Many parents prefer separating movement types for easier notes. This tracker lets you keep a more descriptive log while still producing one total session count.
3) Is the weighted score medical advice?
No. The weighted score is only a personal organization tool. It helps compare sessions, but it does not diagnose anything or replace your provider’s instructions.
4) What should I enter as the target?
Use the target you and your care team prefer, or your own chosen tracking goal. Many users start with ten movements, but personal advice can differ.
5) What is the alert window for?
It is your comparison threshold. The calculator checks whether your current pace would likely reach the target before that number of minutes.
6) Can I use this for daily trend review?
Yes. The page includes an example trend chart, and each calculated session can be exported for your own growing log or appointment notes.
7) Why does the estimated target time change?
It changes with your session duration and total movements. Faster sessions lower the estimated time, while fewer movements increase it.
8) When should I contact a healthcare professional?
If movement feels suddenly reduced, unusual, or worrying for you, contact your provider promptly. Use this tracker as a log, not as a substitute for medical care.
