Formula Used

1. Movement rate per hour

Movement Rate Per Hour = (Observed Movements ÷ Monitoring Minutes) × 60

2. Average minutes per movement

Minutes Per Movement = Monitoring Minutes ÷ Observed Movements

3. Completion percentage

Completion Percent = (Observed Movements ÷ Target Movements) × 100

4. Projected minutes to target

Projected Minutes To Target = (Target Movements ÷ Observed Movements) × Monitoring Minutes

The tracker compares your session with the target you enter. It also compares counts against the previous day and a seven-day average when available.

FAQs

1. What does this tracker calculate?

It calculates movement rate per hour, minutes per movement, completion percentage, projected time to the selected target, and optional comparisons against recent counts.

2. Does this tool diagnose a medical problem?

No. It is a tracking and organization tool. It helps you log patterns, but it does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional medical advice.

3. What target should I enter?

Use the target recommended by your clinician or care plan. The calculator is flexible, so the chosen target can match your personal monitoring routine.

4. Why compare counts with previous days?

Comparisons help you spot differences in daily logging. A clear baseline also makes your notes easier to review later with your care team.

5. Why record session minutes too?

Minutes add context. Two sessions can have the same count, but very different pace. Rate per hour and minutes per movement help show that difference.

6. What if I do not reach the target?

The tool will still save the session summary and show a projected pace. Follow your own care instructions for what to do next.

7. Can I export the results?

Yes. After submitting the form, you can download the summary as CSV or PDF. That makes sharing or storing records much easier.

8. Is one slower session always meaningful?

Not always. Daily logs can vary. A well-kept record is helpful because it preserves timing, counts, and notes for more informed follow-up.
