Formula Used
Kick Count = number of recorded movement timestamps
Time to Goal = timestamp of the target-th recorded movement
Average Interval = sum of consecutive kick gaps ÷ number of gaps
Kick Rate = Kick Count ÷ (Session Duration in minutes ÷ 60)
Longest Quiet Gap = maximum of: first kick delay, each gap between kicks, and final gap from last kick to session end

FAQs
1) What does this kick count chart calculator measure?
It measures recorded fetal movement timestamps, the time needed to reach a selected goal, average spacing between movements, and session trends.
2) What should I enter in the kick timestamps box?
Enter elapsed minutes from the session start. For example, if movements happened 3, 7, and 12 minutes after starting, enter 3, 7, 12.
3) Why does the calculator ask for a target kick count?
The target kick count helps the calculator estimate how quickly a chosen milestone was reached. It also supports clearer progress reviews across multiple sessions.
4) What happens if I leave end time blank?
The calculator uses the final recorded movement time as the session duration. This is useful when you stop counting as soon as the target is reached.
5) What does the longest quiet gap mean?
It shows the longest period without a recorded movement during the session. That includes the opening delay, gaps between kicks, and the final segment before session end.
6) Can I use this chart for daily tracking?
Yes. The calculator is useful for session-by-session logging, pattern review, and exporting notes for later reference or discussion.
7) What does the Plotly graph show?
The graph shows cumulative kicks against elapsed minutes. It helps you see whether movement reached your goal quickly, gradually, or later in the session.
8) Are CSV and PDF exports included?
Yes. After calculation, you can download a CSV summary or generate a PDF report containing the session summary and kick timeline.
